Atheist Momma's Temple

SHE my Temple, from an atheist momma This blog is based on a cute story about me and my daughter. Before we head towards the story, I'd like to enlighten you about the core of this tale. Navratri:   We Indians celebrate a lot of festivals and one of the most pious festivals is Navratri. It is  followed by Dussera famously known as the victory of good over evil. So, during these beautiful days of Navratri, our Indian Goddess graces us with her holy presence and helps us get rid of all the negativity around us! We happen to celebrate "Ashtami" religiously, it is the 8th day of Navratri and is believed that  Maa  Mahagauri offers relief from all kinds of pain. Also is celebrated by conducting " Kanya puja ". In this ritual, nine girls are invited over, are worshipped and fed with a holy meal.  Now coming back to our cute story. MOMSTER MOMENT

Hello Mommas!  I am back with a super cool blog about us having a moment being a   "MOMSTER" Of course, we are talking about rage issues                        Coming from a momma who loses her temper at a drop of a  TOY, FOOD, MILK   psst..psst...  sometimes even   "NOTHING" Don't judge me ! We are humans and we are "allowed" to feel all the emotions. Okay then, let me share with you a fun fact about what I do when I have my MOMSTER MOMENT Firstly, I am sure you all must be losing your "wise momma angelic" look at some point of time and if you haven't, you are either faking it real good in front of your kid or you are lying to me and yourself about it. We Indian parents tend to blend in "a spoonful of yelling with a slice of guilt love jam"  to prove it to ourself, that we know we are not supposed to be yelling at a kid especially when they are toddlers or under 10.
