I Matter
Being a mother comes with its perks and challenges.
Unlike any other relationship, this one has no exit door, unless you die
(it is a "hilarious" but a true comment).
So mommas, tell me how far does this momma guilt push you ??
I am a mother of two and each day is either a surprise or a shock. Of course I love my minions and my world would just be so grey and plain without them. They add a flavour in my life which cannot be replaced.
But there is always a BUT.
Well, for starters let's start with three GUILT feelings on which we end up judging ourselves !
I am a terrible mother
I am a terrible mother
I am a terrible mother
Now, they maybe a zillions of things.
Things as per you, your schedule on which you end up judging yourself for even catching a breath. I am here to share the load with you guys and maybe learn and explore different tips and tricks .
Firstly, I need you to stop feeling the GUILT momma!! We are already being judged irrespective of being a good mother. I want you to know
YOU ARE THE BEST VERSION
OF
YOURSELF MOMMA
I am going to share a few affirmations that have helped me
and
could help you out of sulking into the
MOMMA GUILT
ONE:
I need a break.
I don't need to feel accountable or guilty for taking a breath and finding a piece of peace for myself.
How i feel and what I need are valid.
TWO:
It’s okay if I am not a perfect momma
I am the best version of myself and growing each day as a mother and a person does not make me a bad mother.
THREE:
I am a positive role model for my kids, I’ve got this.
FOUR:
The most important thing is that I'm there for my kids.
Showing kids that having flaws is just been plain human and it has to apply to me as a mother.
FIVE:
I am proud of myself .
Every strong momma feels weak
But Breathe Momma and you
GOT THIS
I hope this blog helps you understand you aren't the only one here feeling this guilt, and feeling it itself represents that you are a GOOD MOTHER.
Sending lots of love and momma power to all of you out there.
So true.....whatever u do the guilt factor is always there.
